JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- For those requiring transportation between Eielson and JBER, there is a military flight available during Air National Guard RSAD weekends, which often coincides with 477th Fighter Group UTAs. The flight, which includes both directions for UTA participation, however, a few prerequisites must be met before you can fly on the rotator:
1. Register with 176 LRS/LGRDX, POC Staff Sgt. Avila 907-551-1034.
2. Search Facebook for "AKANG RSD Rotator" and request access to the page.
3. Join the scheduled event no later than Wednesday via Facebook when it's posted typically the Monday prior.
4. Arrive at the appropriate PAX terminal by the posted show time ready to fly.
