Chief Master Sergeant Neverley R. Wake is the Group Superintendent, 477th Fighter Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. She is the senior enlisted leader for 300 professional men and women on matters concerning morale, welfare, and readiness. Chief Wake advocates commander’s direction and policies and advises on operational effectiveness of the enlisted workforce. She is responsible for the professional development and proper utilization of enlisted Airmen in Alaska's only Reserve unit and AFRC’s first F-22 associate unit, providing a combat ready force under the Total Force Enterprise concept.
