Air Force improves lactation support for nursing mothers
A nursing mother assigned to U.S. Space Command uses resources located in the private nursing mother’s room in Building 1, Sept. 11, 2020 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. An Air Force guidance memorandum signed on August 15 2020 details responsibilities and procedural steps to better enable commanders to align the needs of nursing mothers with mission requirements by supporting nursing mothers with a private, secure and clean area within unit facilities.
