Annual JBER Bazaar open to public Published Sept. 28, 2011 By JBER PA Office JBER 9/28/2011 - JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- The Elmendorf Officers' Spouse Organization is hosting the 26th Annual JBER Arctic Bazaar Sat. 9 a.m to 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Non-DoD card holders must use the Post Road Gate and will be directed to Hangar 5. The event is a craft extravaganza, featuring local artists' work of pottery, woodwork, art, holiday items, photography, jewelry and art. Activities for children and food for purchase will be available. The Elmendorf Officers' Spouse Organization is a non-profit charitable organization. Proceeds from this event will go to non-profit organizations in the community and toward scholarships for military family members. Last year, the Elmendorf Officers' Spouse Organization donated $35,000 to local community organizations and $25,000 toward scholarships.
