Dogs were ready to run at the start of the Iditarod race in Anchorage, Alaska March 5. Col. Chris Ogren, 477th Fighter Group deputy commander, was at the start of the Iditarod 2016 ceremonial start in Anchorage, Alaska March 5. Ogren and the Air Force Reserve recruiters were on hand to pass out brochures and answer questions about the 477th FG, Alaska's only Air Force Reserve unit. Dallas Seavey‬, the youngest three time ‪‎Iditarod‬ champion, passes through downtown Anchorage during the ceremonial start of the Iditarod March 5. Earlier in the week Seavey stopped by the 477th Fighter Group at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska and swapped stories with Reservists about sacrifice and dedication and got a tour of an F-22.
