Welcome Home Daddy!

Five-year-old James Fussell hugs his dad, Tech. Sgt. Ted Fussell, tightly to welcome him home Sunday, September 13 from his six month deployment to Iraq. Tech. Sgt. Fussell is part of the 477th Fighter Group Civil Engineer Squadron and one of the 37 Airmen who deployed to Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq, for the past four to six months. During their deployment, the Airmen worked with other Airmen, soldiers, and Iraqi fliers to repair roads and runway and reconstruct shrines for public use. The Airmen also helped train and teach local nationals on several construction techniques. The deployment was the first full unit deployment for the squadron and first for the 477th FG.
