477th FG pilots fly Raptors to Guam

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska – Ensuring he and his aircraft are prepared and ready to go, Staff Sgt. Nathan Summers, 3rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, assists Reserve fighter pilot Maj. Brett “Stitch” Paola, 302nd Fighter Squadron, before he departs for his deployment to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 12. Major Paola is assigned to Air Force Reserve Command’s 477th Fighter Group and joins several Reserve Airmen currently deployed to the Pacific region. The Air Force regularly deploys additional forces throughout the Western Pacific as part of its continuing force posture adjustments to address worldwide requirements.
