ELMENDORF AFB, Alaska -- Construction continues through the Alaska winter for the future home of the 477th Fighter Group Training Headquarters located at Elmendorf Air Force Base. The building is expected to be complete in September 2009. The 477th Fighter Group is a Classic Associate unit responsible for recruiting, training, developing and retaining unrivaled Citizen Airmen.
