Airmen Loses 115 Pounds Before Joining F-22A Raptor Reserve Unit in Alaska

Derrick Bell enlists in the Air Force Reserve Jan. 15. Bell is the newest enlisted member of the 477th Fighter Group, a Classic Associate unit responsible for recruiting, training, developing and retaining unrivaled Citizen Airmen. In only 11 months Bell lost 115 pounds before he met physical standards for the Air Force Reserve. Today he is preparing to attend technical training to work as an F-22A Raptor Crew Chief.
