ELMENDORF AFB, Alaska -- Despite a fresh coat of snow, construction continued on November 12 for the future home of the 477th Fighter Group Training Headquarters located at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. The building is expected to be complete in September 2009. The 477th Fighter Group is a Classic Associate unit responsible for recruiting, training, developing and retaining Citizen Airmen to support 3rd Wing and Expeditionary Air Force mission requirements.
