Santa Visits Remote Village
RUBY, Alaska -- Col. Eric Overturf, 477th Fighter Group Commander, and his wife, Karla travel with Santa and Mrs. Claus to the village of Ruby, Alaska for the Alaska National Guard's Operation Santa Claus November 5. Ruby was the first village Operation Santa Claus, which is celebrating its 52nd anniversary, visited this year. This event is part of the Alaska National Guard's yearly community relations and support program that provides clothing, books, school supplies and toys for youngsters in communities across the state each year during the holidays.
