477th Fighter Group September UTA
Lt. Col. Clayton Johnson, 302nd Fighter Squadron F-22 pilot, waits for the final signal from the crew chief prior to shutting down his F-22. Johnson just returned from a six F-22 ship training sortie, the first of three training flights that took place during the 477th Fighter Groups September Unit Training Assembly. The 477th Fighter Group is the only Air Force Reserve unit in Alaska. During the week members of the FG integrate with the active duty 3rd Wing supporting F-22 flying operations.
