477th Fighter Group September UTA
An F-22 Raptor assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson sits ready for its first flight of the 477th Fighter Groups Unit Training Assembly. This aircraft has been designated as the 477th Fighter Group flagship with the words “Spirit of Tuskegee” painted across the tail, a nod to the units Tuskegee Airmen heritage. The UTAs are an opportunity for the pilots in the 302nd Fighter Squadron to conduct Reserve flying operations. During the week the Reserve pilots and maintainers integrate with their active duty counterparts in the 525th and 90th Fighter Squadrons. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Dana Rosso)
