Desert Storm

Master Sgt. Bryan Nicolos, a Reservist with the 477th Fighter Group, was deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Desert Storm in 1991. During the deployment Nicolos and his fellow Services Airmen supported over 2,700 personnel who came through King Khalid Military City. “The best day was the day the war started and ended,” said Nicolos. “The worst day was the day we said goodbye to our comrades, our war buddies. I still remember the guys from tent A-104 and will until my dying day.” (Courtesy Photo)
