Scott Janssen sets out as the first musher at the Iditarod restart in Willow Alaska, March 6, 2016. Janssen began mushing in 2007 and is known as the “Mushing Mortician” because he has been a mortician and funeral home owner for 29 years. The Iditarod is a 1,000-mile sled dog race across the rugged terrain of Alaska.
