Lt. Col. Clayton M. Johnson, Commander, 477th Maintenance Squadron (MXS), Assumption of Command Ceremony at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, April 7, 2019. Lt. Col. Johnson took command of the 477th MXS March 10, 2019. The 477th Fighter Group was originally known as the 477th Bombardment Group, May, 1943.
