U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Tanner Sterner, 52nd Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman, manually rotates jet engine components during an inspection at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Feb. 25, 2020. Sterner helped check for discrepancies to prevent issues arising. The 52nd MXS Propulsion Flight recently won the Air Force Chief of Safety: Aviation Safety award for their excellent record of quality assurance.
