African Lion provides Airmen the opportunity to work with partner nations and share tactics, techniques and procedures to better accomplish shared goals. The exercise is U.S. Africa Command’s largest, premier, joint, annual exercise hosted by Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal, involving more than 7,000 participants from nine nations and NATO training together with a focus on enhancing readiness for U.S. and partner-nation forces.
