A KC-46A Pegasus refuels on the flight line at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Oct. 25, 2021. The KC-46A represents the beginning of a new era of aerial refueling, having greater refueling, cargo and aeromedical evacuation capabilities than the KC-135 Stratotanker. The aircraft will soon undergo operational tests and evaluations on the way to initial operating capability. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Joshua Hastings)
