Over the Gulf
A U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor with the 43d Fighter Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, flies over the Gulf of Mexico during Checkered Flag 22-1, Nov. 9, 2021. Checkered Flag is a large-force aerial exercise held at Tyndall, which fosters readiness and interoperability through the incorporation of fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft during air-to-air combat training.
