LC-130 elephant walk
Nine LC-130 Hercules’ with the 109th Airlift Wing conducted the unit’s first-ever elephant walk at Stratton Air National Guard Base, N.Y., on Sept. 10th, 2022. An elephant walk is a United States Air Force term for taxiing military aircraft in close formation, often employed to project air power through the rapid deployment of multiple aircraft at once.
