  • 3rd Wing Airmen continue to set new records

    Despite the challenges of operating during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd Wing set a new flying record in June, accomplishing 810 sorties. It is by far the highest number to date since the arrival of the F-22 Raptors here at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

  • F-22 crashes on Eglin AFB range

    The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and was transported to the 96th Medical Group hospital on Eglin AFB for evaluation and observation. He was listed in stable condition. The name of the pilot has not been released.
