COVID-19 or Coronavirus symptoms according to the CDC
These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell

If you or family member have traveled recently or have had contact with a COVID-19 infected person, and are experiencing fever, cough or difficulty breathing, call the hotline to coordinate a care plan before arriving at the hospital in effort to mitigate the risk to yourself and others. COVID-19 tests are being administer in accordance with CDC and the state of Alaska’s guidelines.
