In an age when everybody is digitally connected, nobody should feel unplugged from the world. Esports in the Air Force has the ability to bring people together no matter their age, rank, gender, ethnicity, or any other factor. In this episode of FYSA: An Air Force Podcast, Angel Orozco and Tech. Sgt. Deana Heitzman interview the Airmen behind Air Force Gaming to find out why and how it started. They also talk with Airmen gamers who share their stories of how gaming with fellow Airmen has made them more resilient.

If this podcast were a video game, the hosts reached the final boss-level when they spoke with Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass. Bass recognizes the importance of resilience tools like Air Force Gaming. She says, "connecting with each other and having that family, whether it's an Air Force family, gaming family or whatever, it just builds on somebody's resilience, their mindset, their sense of community, and that builds a stronger, more resilient Force, period.
