Reserve unit hosts first-ever IRR muster overseas
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska – Recruiters from the 477th Fighter Group were on hand to answer questions and provide information to Individual Ready Reserve members at a one-day IRR Muster at Elmendorf Air Force Base June 12. Air Force Reserve Command’s 477th FG hosted the event which marked the first-ever overseas muster for AFRC. IRR members processed through various stations to update their contact and medical information, and receive pertinent information such as their eligibility for Veteran’s Affairs benefits. The muster is designed to obtain updated contact information for IRR members and their availability for possible mobilization. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Andrea Knudson)
