477th FG Airmen deploy to Iraq
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska – Larry Thomas, father of Lt. Col. Kevin Thomas, 477th Civil Engineer Squadron, chatted with Chaplain (Maj.) Pat Travers, 477th Fighter Group, before Colonel Thomas (center) departed for Kirkuk, Iraq, May 4. Colonel Thomas previously commanded the 477th CES, and is currently serving as the deputy commander for the 506th Air Expeditionary Group.
