Dallas Seavey wins The Last Great Race on Earth
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Maj. Steve Lee, 477th FG director of staff, Chief Master Sgt. Horace Honeycutt 477th FG Chief Enlisted Manager and Senior Master Sgt. Shawn Arnold, 477th Force Support Squadron superintendent, show their support and congratulate Seavey after he crossed the finish line in Nome, winning the 44th Iditarod. Earlier this month, Seavey visited the 477th Fighter Group at JBER. While there, he swapped stories with Reservists about sacrifice and dedication and got a tour of an F-22. This is the second year Air Force Reserve Recruiting has sponsored the Iditarod, known as “The Last Great Race on Earth.” (Courtesy photo)
